We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and proactive chartered surveyor to deal with a broad range of commercial estates management, valuation, development and disposal work.
This is a team leader role that would suit a qualified surveyor with a good range of commercial experience. You will carry your own workload which will include dealing estates management, disposals, acquisitions and some valuation work. You will work closely with client departments across the council’s diverse portfolio that includes commercial, industrial, leisure, tourism, retail and operational service properties.
Working within a friendly and commercially focussed team, you will have excellent communication, negotiation, organisational and time management skills. You will be responsible for the management and supervision of a small team of professional and technical staff dealing with a variety property estates management and valuation work.
The successful candidate will be a key team member and will support regeneration and economic development and help ensure that the council extracts optimum value from its property assets.
