The Sustainable Development team are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated individual to lead on the development and delivery of coastal management policy within the East Riding of Yorkshire.
As Senior Sustainable Development Officer (Coast) you will work with communities, businesses and corporate and external partners to promote sustainable coastal management and to support the delivery of coastal change mitigation and adaptation approaches on the East Riding coast.
You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and have a good understanding of coastal processes and sustainable coastal management approaches. You should also have good interpersonal skills, with experience of communicating relevant issues to a range of stakeholders including Government organisations, communities and businesses.
Based at County Hall, Beverley, with a requirement to travel to locations inside and outside of the county on occasions, this post is a permanent post for 37 hours a week.
