Senior Performance Officer (Health and Adult Social Care)
This is a full time post based at County Hall in Beverley.
This is an opportunity for a data literate professional to take a leading role in small team which provides a range of performance information for adult social care and compiles various returns for central government.
The Council is replacing its client record and payments systems with Azeus, a single, integrated solution, which offers great potential to improve recording and reporting. The successful candidate will be closely involved in helping realise the benefits and supporting the implementation including data cleansing, migration and developing reporting using Jasper (an SQL based product).
You will ensure that the team prepares and analyses timely performance information and presents clear and credible interpretations of complex data for internal and external audiences.
You will be comfortable with using large and complex data sets, be skilled at data analysis and presentation of information. Our collaborative approach requires you to have excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with senior colleagues within the Council and partner organisations.
You will be someone who is able to manage competing priorities, and organise your workload and that of the team.
You will need to demonstrate knowledge, commitment and experience of delivering and leading on information related work. The role is a technical lead so the postholder will have to rapidly become conversant with the record systems and reporting tools we use and will need to be able to support and coach others.
Ideally you will:-
You will need good analytical skills, an excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages (particularly MS Excel) and an awareness of performance management.
