Could you be a Learning and Development Officer responsible for the provision of a high quality, responsive and efficient learning and development service within our organisation?
We are currently seeking to appoint a Learning and Development Officer to develop, deliver and co-ordinate a range of appropriate learning and development solutions in relation to Health and Safety learning needs.
The main focus of this role will be to act as a training facilitator for health and safety within directorates and liaise with relevant national bodies on whose behalf training is delivered; e.g. IOSH. In addition, this post will promote, develop and deliver suitable training solutions in accordance with training needs and policy, ensuring full compliance with current legislation and best practice.
What we need from you
Successful applicants will be expected to be experienced in the delivery of certified health and safety training programmes, have experience of working across numerous services and demonstrate the relevant qualifications necessary for this post including:
