Fixed term contract for 15 months, specific apprenticeship programme
Looking for an apprenticeship opportunity in Adult Health and Social Care? Look no further; we have a new and exciting opportunity for people who want to 'make a difference.' Our new apprenticeship programme includes exciting placements across health and social care settings which will broaden your experience and learning and so equip you for a career in Adult Social Care.
The programme offers rotations across a range of health and social care settings which will give you as an apprentice the opportunity to develop a wider level of knowledge and skills over the holistic care sector over the 15 month apprenticeship programme. You will have 3 individual placements each lasting for one month. Placement options will be agreed with you following recruitment.
We aim to recruit 8 apprentices who will undertake a Level 2 Adult Care Worker qualification through Selby College; the training will be delivered at or close to the employer's base. For the duration of the apprenticeship, you will be employed (paid) by one of the following social care employers: East Riding Yorkshire Council; Yorkare Limited; Denestar Limited. At the end of the 15 month programme, successful apprentices will have a Level 2 Adult Care Worker qualification, have completed the Care Certificate and will have experience working in both social care and health settings. In order to engage fully in this rotational programme, you (the apprentice) will be required to travel to the placement sites for which financial support will be available.
If you want to be part of this innovative project, make a difference to the lives of others, work in front line social care in the community, in a Care Home or in a health setting, please complete an application.
