We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Revenue and Benefit Contact Centre as a Customer Advisor, on a temporary basis until 31 January 2022.
The Revenue and Benefit contact centre is extremely customer focused, providing support and advice to residents and businesses of the East Riding.
The Customer Advisor role ensures that every customer contact counts, therefore excellent communication and organisations skills are essential to this position, along with a good level of interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Working within the team, you will be able to demonstrate commitment, flexibility and the ability to deal with complex legislation and procedures in addition to having proficient keyboard skills, be committed to high standards of customer service, have the ability to communicate effectively and courteously and be able to work as part of a team to attain daily key performance indicators.
Knowledge of benefits, council tax, business rates and rent is not essential as training will be given. However, knowledge in any of those areas would be beneficial. Experience of working in a busy call centre environment would also be an advantage.
Please note: This is a career graded post. There will be the opportunity to move through the grades once eligible criteria have been met.
