An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Council's Sustainable Development Team, which includes coastal change management, environmental management, climate change and biodiversity.
As Sustainable Development Officer you will be expected to assist the team with the formulation, monitoring and review of policies, strategies and plans relating to sustainable development. We are looking for someone who has excellent oral and written communication skills, and who has experience of working in a multi-agency environment.
You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or have substantial experience in the field of sustainable development, community engagement or another relevant subject area.
Based at County Hall, Beverley, with a requirement to spend time out of the office at day and evening meetings and events, this post is a fixed term contract until 31 March 2021 for 37 hours a week.
