We are seeking to recruit a Deputy Homes Manager to join our Corporate Parenting Service.
The successful candidate will be a child centred practitioner who understands the unique role residential care has in supporting our most vulnerable children to achieve their potential.

Vacancy Details:-
This role of the Deputy Children's Home Manager is crucial in supporting and nurturing our looked after children.
You will be passionate about ensuring our most vulnerable children are supported to achieve their full potential. You will be an innovative and creative child centred practitioner who is capable of leading and developing a dedicated team to perform at the highest level. You will be a solution focussed manager who is able to lead and manage staff. You will be reflective and analytical in your approach and you will be able to confidently lead and support the Homes manager and the team through Ofsted inspections and monitoring. You will understand the local authority performance management framework and be able to support your team to achieve the high standards expected. You will be able to work on your own initiative but also perform as part of the homes management team. You will be able to build positive working relationships with children and young people, professionals and carers as well as respectfully challenge when appropriate. You will be a confident and competent practitioner who has an excellent understanding of the statutory requirements relating to residential care and children looked after and keeping children safe. You will have a very good understanding of what it means to work for a high performing local authority and be able to efficiently and effectively implement its policies and procedures.
