Required at County Hall in Beverley, Legal and Democratic Services are seeking a Senior Information Governance and Feedback Officer. The post holder will play a key role in information governance activities across the Council, but will specialise in freedom of information related work. They will manage the freedom of information request process, working closely with all services across the Council to ensure that information is located and released in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act. They will provide advice to staff and applicants making requests on a daily basis and be the first point of call for freedom of information related activity. In addition to this they will support both the Council’s data protection function and corporate Feedback system (complaints, compliments and comments). The post holder will become part of a well-established team helping to further strengthening the Council’s compliance with statutory obligations.
